Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  What is sikhicards.com?

A site where you can send and recieve sikhi-based e-cards.  It's fast.  It's free.  And it's really easy to use.  Just follow these instructions:

    1.  First, select a category from the left from which you would like to send an e-card.
    2.  Next, select the card that you would like to personalize and send.
    3.  After you've seen the card and are sure that this is the one you want to send, fill in all required information such as names, e-mail addresses, and your message.  Other options can also be changed, or just use the pre-set default settings.
    4.  Now, preview your e-card and make changes until you are fully satisfied with what you've put together.
    5.  Finally, send your e-card, sit back, relax and wait for your friend or family member to pick it up!

      * Use the links in the event calendar to remind you of upcoming holidays.

Q.  Where is the website based?

This site is privately owned and operated out of Maryland, USA.

Q.  Do I have to pay to use the site?

No way.  Everything here is completely free.  There are no hidden scams.  There are no "members only" e-cards like many other sites.  Every e-card here is yours to use freely.

Q.  How often do you add new e-cards?

As often as humanly possible.  Between working and studying, whatever time we have, we try to devote it to bringing you fresh content.

Q.  Do you make all the graphics yourself?

Not all of them.  Some of the graphics were made by us.  Most of them were taken from other sikhi-promoting sites and are used only for non-commercial e-cards purposes.  We do not take credit for all of the graphics that are used on this site.  Any alterations we may have made, were made only for e-cards purposes as well.

Q.  Do you have any partners?

Yes.  We are affiliated with sikhness.com.  sikhness.com has been an online sikh community since Vasakhi (April, 2006), providing young sikhs all over the world a place to speak their mind and meet new people.  Stop by and visit at www.sikhness.com.

Q.  I am loving the site!  Can I donate money to help it grow?

Thank you, but currently we are NOT accepting any monetary donations for the site.  You can help it grow by spreading the word.

Q.  I am loving the site!  How can I help spread the word?

There are a few things you can do to spread the word.  You can start by posting a flyer up in your gurudwara, or telling some of your friends to check out the site.  You can post a link to our site if you have your own website or blog.  And finally, you can simply send a friend, family member, or loved one an e-card.  This will spread the word as well as bring a smile to your friend or family member's face.

Q.  I have nicknames such as "Graphics Whiz Kid" or "Fast Fingers" at my school.  Can I join your team?

Yes, of course.  Even if you don't have these nicknames, you can contact us and let us know what you can help us with.  We're always on the lookout for help by creative minds with great ideas.
