Amrit

Amrit is like baptismal holy water in sikhism. It represents a sikh becoming a gursikh or guru's sikh. It is a big deal to become "amrit shak". It means a sikh must follow the rehat maryada very strictly. Send a friend or family member a card from this section after they've just taken amrit, to congratulate them for a big step in the right direction.
